The part of the system that keeps people out of acute care. Public health and prevention programs operate at population scale and integrate with the primary care infrastructure the Foundation also builds.
Program scope includes immunization, screening, maternal and child health, and chronic-disease surveillance. Integration with the Field and Mobile Hospitals program extends prevention into rural geographies.
This program is currently in Concept Development. African Sahara Charity Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. No operating activities are underway.
